Hydro electricity term is defined as the electricity generated by the hydropower. Hydro electricity runs with the gravitational force of flowing water . Hydro electricity are launched  over 150 countries. Asisa pacific has covered almost 32 percent by Hydro electricity. In 2010 Chaina has produced the largest Hydro electricity having capacity of 712 tera watt per hour. There are  four largest hydro electricity generatrors. One of them is  Three Georges dam, Xillu dam both of them are located in China. Itapu dam is also one of the largest hydroelceticity across the Brazill and Paraguay and another one is Guri dam in Venezula. It is one of the important reneawble energy.
In  ancient period of time many peple used hydro electricity for diffrernt purposes such as grinding flour,wheat,grains and for many more uses. In 1770s, The french engineer Bernard Forest De Belidor made architecture Hydraulique. Similarly in 19 century  electrical generator was made. In 1978 world first hydro electric power scheme was developed by William George Armstrong in England. In 30 september,1882 the first hydropower was launched in Wisconsin of about 12.5 kilowatts. US and Canada made fourty five hydro power in 1886. Later on US government gave so much emphasis that they made two hundreds hydropower alone by 1889. China was the strongest in generating the electricty. Three George Dam having capacity of 20,300 mega watts was generated by China. Brazil and Paraguay named Itaipu dam was a capacity of 140,00 mega watts. Similarly China has another hydropower company named Xiluodu dam having a capacity of only 13,860 mega watts. Guri dam is located in Venezulla having 10,200 mega watts. Finally US is another largest hyrdopower company having 6809 mega watts capacity named as Grand Coulee dam.

Hydro electricity has many advantages. One of them is flexiblity, hydropower is flexible source of energy because it can be easily ramped up accroding to the energy demand. Hydroeleticity has long  econnomics lives, also helps in elimination of fuel. Hydro power is a most sutibale for industrial applications , it give a sustainablity development to the nations. Hydroelctricity do not burn fossils fuel so they do not proudce carbondioxide, so it helps in reducing emmsion of carbondioxide gas. Including many advantages of hydro electricity there are many disadvantages too.  Hydro electrity damages ecosystem and destroys biologically rich and productive lands, forest which is massive disadvantage. Durning the hydroelectricity projects maximum emissions of methane gas is found in tropical region. Hydroeletricity needs lot of land area so that impact will be on people. They need to relocate from where reservoirs are planned.
Hydroeletricity has many methods of generating hydropowers. Among the generating method of hydro elecrticty one is conventional dams which come from the potential energy after driving water into turbines or generator. Power ejected from water depends on the volumes of water out flow.
Pumped storage is also one of the generating skills  it provides commercially imporatant means of large scale helps in improvement in generating system. Pumped storage is not an energy source. Run of river is another way of generating hydropower. In United States of America have generated 60,000 megawatts by the process  of run f river method.
It has become latest scopes and counted as a source of infrastructure in todays world. Every nations should focus on hydroelectricity so that nations doesn't faces any problem in coming future.
